Q. How did you meet?
A. Aaron and I met through Facebook. We talked and planned our first date all through Facebook.
Q. Tell us about how he proposed?
A. It was on our anniversary and we didn't do much all day because he was moving. The only thing we had planned was going to the state fair. Before we left he asked to marry him and we went to dinner to celebrate instead. I had no idea it was coming!
Q. What inspired your wedding style?
A. I love classic, clean and elegant. I wanted everything white with up lighting to give it some color.
Q. Describe your wedding day?
A. The wedding day was crazy! It rained and the ceremony was supposed to be outside. My wedding party helped us go to plan B with the ceremony. It all worked out, and looked beautiful.
Q. Describe the ambiance of the wedding reception, food, decor, special touches and special moments.
A. The ambience of the wedding was elegant. The decor was white and the uplighting gave it a nice color. Aaron's aunts came in from Germany for our wedding and made German cheese cake for all 85 of our guests. Another special touch was our first dance we decided to do a choreographed silly dance which was a hit and so much fun!
Q. Tell us about any humorous stories, obstacles you have overcome or anything else you feel may be of interest.
A. Yes the day of the wedding it did rain and nothing for the ceremony went as planned. But I just told myself it isn't about all the material things, it's about the covenant we are making. I trusted the Lord knowing it was supposed to happen this way.
